Vinly sales in UK top 1M mark - first since 1997.
I threw out my turntable a few years back but for some reason couldn't get rid of the my records. So this summer bought an early 70s Pioneer PL 12 AC on ebay and started rebuilding a retro systems again - mostly Sony - amp, take deck and CD player - and have started buying vinyl again - latest purchase John Coltrane - I know, a bit obvious but great stuff nonetheless although I think I prefer Miles Davis. Next up with be Houses of the Holy re-issue. I have all the Zep albums in various formats except for Houses and Physical Graffiti. But there's just something about taking the record out and placing it on the turntable, resting the cleaner on it for a few revs and then lowering the tone arm until the crackle starts. Have a crappy speaker set up though so may invest in a good set next year.
